Defining Her Future (DHF)

WIB’s annual, day-long Winter quarter event offers students the chance to connect with industry professionals, attend executive panels, and develop leadership skills. As the largest student-run event on campus free for students to attend, DHF features diverse speakers sharing insights on overcoming challenges and fostering empowerment in the workplace. Students can get involved by joining the Marketing Creative Team, Logistics Team, or Marketing Strategy Team to gain valuable business experience as they work together to make this event available to students every year

Women in Business Leadership Academy (WBLA)

WBLA mentees gain invaluable skills, BUS 206 credit, and a supportive network of like-minded, ambitious young women. Each mentee is paired with a small group and a dedicated mentor to foster both personal and professional growth. The program includes weekly Friday meetings featuring guest speakers, interactive workshops, and a corporate tour in the Bay Area!

General Mentorship Program

This program is designed to empower WIB students by accelerating their academic and professional development. It offers a flexible framework, allowing students to be paired up with a mentor (based on questionnaire responses) and set their own meeting schedules to fit their availability. Applications for mentors and mentees are accepted year-round, ensuring that it's never too late to get involved and benefit from this opportunity

The Wire

The Wire serves as the official publication of Cal Poly Women in Business, dedicated to amplifying the voices and narratives of women within our community and beyond. Through engaging articles, personal stories, and insightful interviews, The Wire connects readers to the diverse experiences of women navigating academic and professional landscapes.
The Wire hires Writers, Copy Editors, Graphic Designers, Directors of Meetings, and Directors of Social Media and Marketing.
